Please encourage companies to make their content available on the Internet:

We like the current practice of most TV networks and producers to provide the latest four episodes of most TV shows on the Internet "for free" with advertising.  But this does not include all TV networks and producers.  Especially backwards is Time Warner (Big Bang Theory, The Mentalist, etc.).  They want to milk DVD's until they die (DVD's or Time Warner, or both).

We think that all TV shows and networks should have all of their content on the Internet.  Please complain to the networks (http://www.adinternational.org/tvnetworks.html)!  Provide your input to the companies.  We also think that all TV stations should be available (should broadcast) on the Internet!  After all, they get a larger audience to watch their advertisements!  It was/is required that local TV stations broadcast over-the-air (OTA), so why shouldn't that apply to the new public medium, the Internet?  Complain to the local TV stations (look them up at http://www.stationindex.com/tv/by-state or http://www.newslink.org/stattele.html - usually you can send an e-mail to info@____.com if their e-mail address isn't easy to find), and your government representatives (https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml)! 

We think that all content should not be restricted to any geographical region.  Why can't we watch local TV stations on the Internet that are in our home town across the country?  Again, they get a larger audience and therefore are more valuable to advertisers.

We think that all TV and movie websites should provide you with the option of watching the show with advertising "for free" (like "old-fashioned TV"), or paying a subscription or by view to watch it without any advertising. 

Please complain about programs that don't work on The Wave:

Apple iTunes and Netflix do not work with the Linux operating system that The Wave uses.  Please send a message to these companies at info@itunes.com or info@netflix.com to please make versions of their programs work with THE WAVE™ (versions that stream from "the cloud", regardless of operating system, or versions for Linux), or please sign these petitions:  iTunes, Netflix .   Meanwhile, we would recommend Amazon.
