Product Features THE WAVE™ connects your TV to the Internet 1
1
You need to have a wireless or wired Internet connection available in your home,
and you need to have either an HDMI or PC/VGA connector on your TV.
You can either plug an Internet cable into The Wave, or you can use a
wireless/Wi-Fi connection. If you
don’t have a wireless/Wi-Fi Internet connection in your home, you can easily
and inexpensively add a wireless router to your Internet cable or DSL
connection. 2
There are no monthly fees to use THE WAVE™, but you need to have an Internet
connection to access the Internet, which you probably already have, which
probably has a monthly cost. 3 Websites that play video and do not use the industry standard Abobe Flash Player may not work on THE WAVE™. Most websites now work on The Wave, including all TV websites. 4 Programs that are only compatible with a Windows or Mac PC may not work with THE WAVE™. Programs that don’t work on the standard version of THE WAVE™ at this writing include iTunes and Netflix (but they do work on the Windows version, which costs more). Please send a message to these companies at info@itunes.com or info@netflix.com to please make versions of their programs work with THE WAVE™ (versions that stream from "the cloud", regardless of operating system, or versions for Linux), or please sign these petitions: iTunes, Netflix . Meanwhile, we would recommend Amazon. |
